Balon udara meledak di Mesir, 19 wisatawan asing tewas, ini FOTO + VIDEO nya ..

Sebuah balon udara yang mengangkut puluhan orang penumpang pecah di udara dan jatuh ke tanah. Insiden ini terjadi di Kota Luxor, Mesir, Selasa (26/2/2013). Sebanyak 19 penumpang dilaporkan tewas, sementara dua orang lainya menderita luka-luka.

Pejabat keamanan Mesir mengatakan, balon udara yang mengangkut 21 wisatawan asing tersebut terbakar, kemudian meledak hingga akhirnya jatuh dari ketinggian sekitar 1.000 meter dan membakar semak di sebuah ladang Tebu, di Qurna, tepi barat Luxor, 510 km dari selatan kota Kairo.

"Semua jenazah telah dimasukan kedalam kantong mayat. Sementara dua orang korban selamat adalah pilot dan salah seorang penumpang telah telah dilarikan kerumah sakit," ungkap pejabat kemanan  Mesir.

Seorang karyawan dari perusahaan yang mengoperasikan balon udara tersebut menolak memberi daftar nama para penumpang balon udara tersebut. Dia hanya mengatakan, wisatawan mancanegara yang berada di atas balon tersebut berasal dari Korea, Inggris, Prancis, Jepang, dan satu dari Mesir.

"Kami belum tahu secara pasti apa yang terjadi atau mungkin ada sesuatu yang salah," ungkap karyawan tersebut, seperti diberitakan dalam news.com. "Kejadian ini sangat mengerikan," imbuhnya.

Balon udara merupakan salah satu transportasi populer di kalangan wisatawan Mesir yang mengunjungi kota Luxor untuk melihat kuil-kuil kuno dan lembah makam para raja Mesir.
